Our Story...
Refund Runner was created out of a frustration we know all too well: juggling work, kids, errands, and daily life while return packages pile up by the door. Between long lines at UPS and USPS, limited drop-off hours, hectic schedules, and not wanting to drag children into crowded stores, returning items became a chore we constantly pushed to “another day.”
And then there were the returns we forgot about completely.

Items we meant to return but didn’t, because it was too much of a hassle, or we simply ran out of time. Before we knew it, the return window had closed and we were stuck with things we didn’t need and lost money we couldn’t get back.
As small business owners handling constant shipments, exchanges, and returns, the problem became even bigger. We kept wishing there were a service that could simply pick up our return packages and drop them off for us, but nothing like that existed. There was food delivery, grocery delivery, couriers, but no convenient return pickup and drop-off service for everyday people.

So we created one.

Refund Runner is a family-owned business, started by a husband and wife who wanted to solve an everyday problem in a simple, practical way. (She does all the shopping… he ends up doing all the returns. So really, this business was inevitable.)

Refund Runner is a specialized return pickup courier service created exclusively to handle returns, not general deliveries. While traditional courier or pickup services focus on transporting packages, they are not designed to manage the return process itself.

Most courier services do not wait in line, do not complete retail or carrier return handoffs, and require a customer to be present at pickup. They also typically operate within very large pickup windows, often up to 8–9 hours, making it difficult to plan your day around a return.
Refund Runner was built differently.

We focus entirely on returns. Our service is designed to handle the most time-consuming and inconvenient parts of the return process, including collecting the required return information from you in advance, picking up your items, transporting them to the correct drop-off location, waiting in line on your behalf, and completing the return handoff so your return can move forward.

We also offer shorter, more predictable pickup windows, typically 2–3 hours, and allow for contactless pickups, so you don’t need to be home as long as your items are left in a secure location.

Another major difference is pricing. Many pickup or courier-style services charge per individual item, which can add up quickly—often reaching $35–$40 or more for just a few returns.
