What is Refund Runner and how does it work?
Refund Runner is a return pickup and drop-off courier service created to make the returns process effortless. Instead of fighting long lines, juggling kids, rushing to make carrier cut-off times, or forgetting about returns until it's too late, you can simply schedule a return pickup through our website.
We pick up your Amazon returns, online retail returns, and other packages directly from your home and deliver them to the correct drop-off location so your refund can be processed, without the stress or time commitment.
Refund Runner was built from real-life frustration:
Busy schedules, kids in tow, hectic workdays, inconvenient store hours, and the constant hassle of returning packages. Like many people, we often postponed returns or forgot about them entirely, only to miss the return window and lose money on items we didn’t need.

Is Refund Runner a courier or a delivery service? How is it different?
Refund Runner is a specialized return pickup service, not a traditional courier or delivery service.
Unlike general courier services that only transport packages, Refund Runner is built specifically for returns. We collect your return details in advance, pick up your items, transport them to the correct carrier or store location, wait in line on your behalf, and complete the drop-off so your return can move forward.
Traditional pickup services typically charge per item, require someone to be present, and operate within large all-day pickup windows. Refund Runner offers flat-rate pricing, shorter 2–3 hour pickup windows, and contactless pickup options, making returns easier, more affordable, and more predictable.
What areas do you serve?
Refund Runner currently serves select areas of Broward County, including Cooper City, Davie, Pembroke Pines, Hollywood, Plantation, and Southwest Ranches, with more cities being added soon!
What types of return items can Refund Runner pick up?
Whether personal or business, Refund Runner can pick up most online retail return packages, including Amazon, Target, Walmart, or any online retail store returns that need to be dropped off at UPS, FedEx, USPS or Whole Foods, as long as you follow the retailer’s specific return instructions (QR code, return label, packaging, etc.). This ensures your return is accepted at the drop-off location.
How much does Refund Runner cost?
We offer pre-paid one time pick ups, pickup packages and a monthly subscription option:

One Time Pick Up: $25

Three Prepaid Pickups: $70 (valid for up to 60 days). Great for occasional returners.

Five Prepaid Pickups: $110 (valid for up to 90 days). Ideal for those with more consistent return needs.

Ten Prepaid Pickups: $200 (valid for up to 6 months). Perfect for busy households with constant returns.

Monthly Subscription: $40 a month for 2 scheduled monthly pickups. This is the best value for regular online shoppers needing consistent return services.
How many items are included in a pickup?
Each pickup includes up to 5 items. Extra items are $3 each, and additional stops are $12 each if they’re along the same route. This applies to both pre-paid packages and monthly subscription plans.
What if I only have one or two items ready for pickup?
You are absolutely welcome to schedule a pickup with fewer items. However, unused item slots (out of the five included per pickup) do not get credited or roll over to future appointments or pickups.
Our minimum pickup fee is $25, which covers your driver arriving at your location, securely collecting your items, handling all required QR code scans or labels, waiting in line, and completing the return at the correct drop-off location.
To get the greatest value from each pickup, many customers choose to schedule when they have four or five items ready, but it’s completely up to you. We're here to help whether it’s one item or five.
What if I have more than five items for pickup?
We are more than happy to take items beyond the five included. Please choose how many additional items you have when booking your pickup. Each additional item is just $3 each.
How do I schedule a pick up?
You can schedule a pickup directly through our website on our Book a Pickup page by filling out the checkout form which will include choosing your preferred pickup date and time, selecting your items, and uploading your QR codes/labels.
When will my items be picked up?
Pickups are completed within your scheduled window. Customers will choose a date and preferred pick up window in the booking form. You will receive an update by text or email (the method you have chosen) when your Runner is on the way. Pick up dates are subject to availability. You will be contacted directly if there is any issue with the date you have chosen. We strive to drop off all pickups at their designated location the same day, but please note, if you choose the final pick up window, it is possible your packages will be dropped off the following day.
Do I need to be home for pickup?
No, you don’t! Unlike most courier services you do not need to be home for pick up! You can leave your items in a secure, designated spot such as by your front door, in a porch box, or even in your garage with a one-time access code. Just tell us in your booking notes where the items will be, and you can even upload a photo of the location for clarity.
Please note: Refund Runner is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to items left unattended.
Your Runner will take a photo of each of your packages prior to them being placed in the vehicle confirming we have picked up ALL the packages in the order and all the QR codes match. We will notify you via text message or email (which ever you have chosen for your preferred method of communication).
How will I know when my packages arrive at the drop off location? Will I be notified?
Yes. Once our Runner arrives at the designated drop off location, you will be notified via text message or email when the packages are delivered, scanned, and/or accepted. For most drop offs this will include a picture of the drop off receipt (if the location offers receipts).
How do I prepare my items for pickup?
All items must be placed back in their original manufacturer packaging (box or bag) and taped closed (if necessary). Loose clothing should be bagged properly and sealed closed.
Follow the retailer’s return instructions regarding packing, QR codes, and labels.
Upload all QR codes, labels, and photos of each item inside your Refund Runner booking.

If I have a monthly subscription, do unused pickups or unused item slots roll over to the next month?
No. Unused pickups and unused item allowances do not roll over in either pre-paid or subscription plans. You can still schedule a pickup! But unused item slots (out of the five allowed) cannot be used at a later time.
What if I have packages going to different return locations?
Each scheduled pickup includes one drop off location. If you have items that need to be dropped off at an additional stop (ex. one package going to UPS and another going to FedEx), we can accommodate this for $12 each additional stop. In order for us to plan accordingly, please be advised that the additional stop option should be chosen on the booking form.
What about heavy or oversized items?
Heavy packages weighing more than 30 lbs. and/or requiring the use of a hand truck will incur an additional handling fee of $15 per item. Oversized packages requiring two people to lift will incur an additional fee of $30 per item. We currently only accept one oversized item per pickup. You will be prompted at checkout to add this selection to your pickup. It is important that we know in advance so we can plan accordingly.
What is the pickup window?
Pickups are completed anytime between 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM on your chosen date. You will have the option for a time slot that fits your schedule at checkout.
Can I reschedule or cancel a pickup?
Pickups may be cancelled or rescheduled one time without penalty. All cancellations must be in writing (either text or email) at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled pickup window. Same-day cancellations or items not ready at pickup time will incur the full amount of the pickup and are non-refundable.
Do I need to follow the retailer's return instructions to prepare my packages?
Yes. All items must follow the return guidelines set by the retailer you purchased from. Refund Runner can only pick up items that meet that retailer’s required packing, labeling, and return method.
Examples of retailer requirements:

Amazon: May provide a QR code for a packageless drop-off, or require the item to be customer-packed with either a QR code or a printed label.

Target: Most returns require items to be customer-packed and shipped with a printed return label provided in your Target account or sent to your email.

Walmart: Some returns provide a FedEx or carrier scan code, while others require a printed label.

General online retailers: Most require items to be packed in original packaging with a printed return label. Instructions vary by retailer.

Refund Runner manages the pickup and drop-off of your return, but you must follow your retailer’s instructions so the carrier and store can accept the return without delays.
For items that are fragile, please ensure they are securely and properly packaged prior to pickup to help prevent damage during transport/shipping. Refund Runner handles all packages with care and professionalism; however, we are not responsible for damage or breakage resulting from inadequate or improper packaging.
Can you package my "customer packed" items for me? I don't have a printer. Can you print my return label for me?
Yes! If your return requires packaging, we can handle it for you for $4 per item. Yes! Label printing is available for $2 per label if you can’t print it at home.
If you'd like us to handle both the packaging of your item and printing of your label, we can take care of both for a discounted cost of $5 per item.
What if my QR code doesn’t work?
If a code doesn’t work at drop-off, we will attempt to contact you immediately in-store. It is the customer's responsibility to contact the retailer directly to obtain a new QR code and send it to us promptly. If we can’t reach you, we’ll continue trying for 24 hours to resolve the issue and if resolved, re-drop off your package at another location on our driver’s route. If you haven’t contacted us within 24 hours, the package will be returned to you. A $10 return trip fee applies and must be paid (via Zelle, Venmo, or PayPal) before redelivery. We hold packages for 7 days; after that, any unclaimed items be donated to a local charity.
What payment methods do you accept?
We currently accept Zelle and Credit Card (via Stripe). All payments must be completed before pickup.
Are my item's insured? What happens after drop off?
Similarly to other Courier and Delivery services, Refund Runner does not provide insurance coverage for item loss, theft, or damage to return items or packages. However, your items matter to us, and we handle every pickup with care, attention, and professionalism. From the moment your items are collected, we take reasonable steps to ensure they are handled properly, matched to the correct return label or QR code, and delivered to the appropriate drop-off location. If something appears incorrect or incomplete before drop-off, we will reach out so it can be addressed whenever possible.
Once your item has been successfully received and accepted by the carrier or retailer (such as UPS, USPS, FedEx, or a designated store location), responsibility for the item transfers to that carrier or retailer. At that point, Refund Runner is not responsible for the shipping process, the retailer’s review, or the approval, timing, or outcome of any refund.
If an issue arises before carrier acceptance, we will make every reasonable effort to assist and support next steps. After acceptance, any questions related to shipping status or refund decisions must be handled directly with the retailer or carrier. Our role is to handle your return with care, deliver it to the correct location, and help move the return process forward smoothly.
Are there any items Refund Runner can’t pick up?
Yes. For safety and legal reasons, there are certain items we’re unable to accept for pickup.
Refund Runner cannot pick up:
